Can I edit a comment I posted to a discussion thread?

 Print This

Yes, you can edit a comment you posted to a discussion thread - but with the following caveat:

  • Once a subsequent comment has been posted to the same discussion thread, you won't be able to edit your comment.

To edit your comment:

  1. Go to the "Discussion Thread" page. You can do this using one of the following methods:
    • Go to "Requirement Details" page of the desired requirement (How do I do this?). Scroll down to the Discussion Threads  section, and click the desired discussion thread.
    • Search for the discussion thread (How do I do this?).
  2. The resulting page will display all the comments in that discussion thread.
  3. Click Edit Comment  link in the header section (top-right) of your comment. The editor will appear - make your edits, and click the "Save" button.
    • As noted above - once a subsequent comment has been posted to the same discussion thread, you won't be able to edit your comment.
