What is "Version Number"?

 Print This

Accompa automatically keeps track of "Version History" of a record (such as a Requirement, Feature, etc) - by automatically incrementing the record's version number each time the record is saved.

When the record is created, it is assigned a version number of "1". Each time a user makes a change and saves the record, its version number is automatically incremented.

"Version Number" helps you to implement change management and change control processes. It also enables you to rollback a record to any previous version number of that record.
