I'm using a Mac, and Accompa doesn't import my CSV files. Why?

 Print This

Most of the software in Mac create CSV files with "LF" line breaks. However, Accompa expects "CR-LF" line breaks (i.e. Microsoft Windows style). This can sometimes cause issues when attempting to import CSV files created on a Mac.

To fix this, please do the following:

  • Open the CSV file in a text editor.
  • Save it using the "Save as MS-DOS Text" option (or a similar option).
  • This will save the file using "CR-LF" line breaks.
  • Then use this new file for importing into Accompa.
