What is a "Feature-Use Case" relationship?

 Print This

You can create a relationship between a feature and a use case in Accompa to easily track dependencies between them.

For example, when designing an Online Bookstore:

  • Feature:
    • Online Shopping Cart
  • Use Cases:
    • User adds books to shopping cart
    • User removes books from shopping cart
    • ...
    • User views books in the shopping cart

You can create a "Feature-Use Case" relationship in Accompa to easily associate this feature to all of these use cases.

You can do so in one of two ways:

  1. Visit "Feature Details" page (How do I do this?). Scroll down to "Related Use Cases" section, and create desired relationships using the buttons in this section.
  2. Visit "Use Case Details" page (How do I do this?). Scroll down to "Related Features" section, and create desired relationships using the buttons in this section.
