What is "User Name"?

 Print This

"User Name" is the unique identifier for a user account in Accompa. Users enter "user name" and "password" to login to Accompa.

"User Name" is usually a user's email address.

In some cases, it can contain an optional "prefix" to allow multiple user accounts to be created using the same email address.  This is helpful when:

  • A user needs an account in multiple Accompa systems such as:
    • Divisions of the same company located in multiple countries.
    • Multiple business units of the same company.
  • A user needs to create multiple accounts in the same Accompa system such as:
    • "Administrator" user wants to test how Accompa will look for users with various user roles.
