How does "interactive tree" work (for displaying child requirements)?

 Print This

When creating a SmartView for your requirements, you have the option of selecting "Display child requirements using interactive tree" in Step-6.

When you select this option, the SmartView will display child requirements of a given requirement using an "interactive tree" as shown in this image. This enables you to create and display "Child" requirements such as:

  • Requirement
    • Sub-Requirement
      • Sub-Sub-Requirement
        • etc... (unlimited levels)

You can also define the following settings for the interactive tree:

Show all "Child" requirements: For each requirement displayed in the SmartView, display an interactive tree containing all of its "child" requirements.

Only show "Child" requirements which themselves meet filter criteria defined above: For each requirement displayed in the SmartView, display an interactive tree containing only those "child" requirements which meet the filter criteria defined for that view.
